The biostimulators in Lubex anti-age care products recognize and target the different needs of the skin from the surface to the deeper layers. Examples of biostimulators: tripeptides, pistachio tree extract, phyto stem cells, tragacanth root extract, ginger extract, HAF.
Black Orchid
The Black Orchid (Cycnoches cooperi) thrives even in very barren places — even tree bark can serve as its substrate. This is due to its outstanding ability to store water and nutrients. The extract from its flowers and leaves contains flavonoids that act as antioxidants against free radicals and oxidative stress (UV radiation, environmental pollutants, smoking).
Brazil Nut Oil
A high-quality, pure oil is extracted from the Brazil nut, native to the Amazon region — the seed of the tree of the same name (Bertholletia excelsa). When applied to the skin, this oil reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL); corneometer moisture measurements have shown skin hydration lasting up to eight hours.
Lubex anti-age is produced without preservatives, allergenic fragrances, colorants and paraffin oil.
Diamond Powder
Real diamond powder visually smooths fine lines, wrinkles and pores, counteracting outward signs of premature skin aging. The fine shimmering particles also lend the skin a soft, alluring glow (instant glow effect).
Ectoin
Ectoin acts as a natural DNA and cell protection factor against UV-induced skin damage, supports the skin's immune system and ensures efficient stress defense within the skin. Ectoin was identified as the substance that protects desert organisms from intense solar radiation, high temperatures and extreme dryness. It is used as an active ingredient in skincare and sun protection. It stabilizes the natural structure of biopolymers such as proteins, nucleic acids and biomembranes. It has been shown to protect against skin damage caused by UVA and UVB radiation. What makes it special: ectoin does not act as a UV filter, but rather as cellular protection preventing sun allergies, UV-induced skin aging and photodermatoses. Ectoin prevents damage in the epidermis and in deeper skin layers. Combined with UV filters, it provides highly effective skin protection. In addition, ectoin protects the skin's own immune system.
Ash Extract
The common ash (Fraxinus excelsior) is a large tree commonly found in European forests. Its bark contains two glucosides that actively reduce the permeability of blood capillaries. This activity, known as vitamin P activity (P for permeability), strengthens veins and protects blood vessels. These two glucosides also exhibit antioxidant action to improve protection of the blood capillaries — and to prevent the breakdown of hemoglobin into colored compounds, thereby reducing the appearance of dark circles and shadows under the eyes.
